Center for Independent Living (CIL)

Welcome to the Center for Independent Living (CIL) at The Independence Center. We’re consumer-directed and believe that being able to help and advocate for yourself with support from your peers is the path to living a fulfilling, independent life.

The IC’s Center for Independent Living serves people with disabilities, with specific departments for Deaf & Hard of Hearing and those with Low Vision or Blindness. Our services are free for all who self-identify as having a disability and live in one of the counties we serve. Along with our Colorado Springs Center, we have extension offices at Aspen Mine Center in Cripple Creek and Calhan Outreach Center in Calhan. To see our coverage map, please click here.
